It
is with great affection that we dedicate our website to the much loved British
BBC comedy
of the 1970's.
'The
good life's four series followed the lives of Tom and Barbara Good who
decide to try and quit the rat-race and try become self-sufficient.
With
our surname being 'Goode' it seemed that along with wanting to emulate their
way of life, it gave us a great idea for a name for our new lifestyle.
We
are intergrating many of their (more sensible) ideas. We already have chickens,
2 dogs, a donkey, a cat and a large vegetable plot.
The
Goode Life - Scott and Deborah Morgan-Goode are pleased to offer their recently
renovated two-bedroomed gite in the heart of the beautiful Normandy countryside
in northern France.

The
gite is situated down a quiet country lane just outside the small village
of Beslon, near to Villedieu-les-Poeles in the department of Manche on the
Cotentin Peninsula. It is ideally placed for a holiday as Granville, Avranche,
Bayeux, Mont St Michel and the landing beaches are all within easy driving
distances.

This
area of Normandy offers a particularly warm welcome with good places to eat,
